Chelsea & Leo: Lakewood's Newest Homeowners

Chelsea and Leo are some of my really good friends. I originally met Leo through his sister, Kate, whom I went to college with. I had the privilege of meeting Leo once I relocated out here to Denver and we hit it off very quickly!

I had the honor of helping Leo's sister Kate and quite a few of her friends purchase homes along the way. When the time came for Leo and his incredible partner, Chelsea, to purchase, I was honored that they chose to work with me!

We had an initial consultation and figured out their financing before eventually going and looking at some properties. They ended up quickly finding a home that they liked! We were able to negotiate a great deal and go under contract on this property! Unfortunately, through the inspection process, the Seller was unwilling to address some deal-breaker items for these two. Smartly, they decided to terminate that deal and move on with their search.

A few weeks later, they found a home that they truly fell in love with! Unfortunately, it wasn't just them who had fallen in love with it. After just 36 hours on the market, there were 9 offers in hand on this great property! Despite the number of offers in hand, I had built a very strong relationship with the Listing Agent along the way. This relationship and trust, coupled with a great offer with strong terms, ultimately led Chelsea and Leo to have their offer accepted! Please do note that their offer was not the highest, or even the second highest offer, but all of the other pieces ended up mattering much more to the Seller.

The deal was super smooth. After going under contract, we able to negotiate almost $17,000 in inspection items! In just 2 weeks, these lovely humans closed on their very first home!

Congratulations Chelsea and Leo! I am beyond honored to have had the privilege of helping you through this process. I cannot think of two more deserving people of this great accomplishment, but specifically of this great space. Wishing the both of you and your fur baby, Kimchi, all the best in the future!
